POSITION: Assistant / Associate Immunologist

DEPARTMENT:  BioAssay

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION:
4-year college degree in a relevant field.

EXPERIENCE:
Two (2) years relevant experience. Specific experience should include: mammalian cell culture, biological assay development, aseptic technique, GMP, clean room operations and media preparation.

SKILLS / ABILITIES:
Successful candidates must be able to (1) aseptically handle mammalian cell lines without contamination, (2) adhere to written procedures, (3) work with bleach and other sanitizing agents, (4) accurately pipet small volumes with a pipet aid, (5) write scientific documents in a clear, logical manner, (6) properly use cell harvester, centrifuge, laminar flow hood, scintillation counter, and other laboratory equipment, (7) handle radioisotopes, (8) perform various statistical analyses, (9) file and maintain data records, and (10) have excellent computer and communication skills.

WORK HOURS:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Weekend, holiday, and evening work assigned on a rotating or volunteer basis.

Limited local travel to other Company facilities may be required.
